To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Be aware this is a left-wing magazine. Also be careful of auto-renew, which will automatically sign you up (and charge you) for another year if you don't cancel. Used to be a lot more of a magazine that documented history as it happened. Now it just blatantly tells you left wing viewpoints. Read articles in a few of them but now they show up every week just to gather dust.
First 10-20 pages are ads and the rest is self-validating drivel for those who can't research the issues of our day and think critically for themselves. not sure why I keep receiving issues, but they go straight into my recycle
It says 52 issues/12 months (I selected the option without auto-renewal), but I just bought it last month, got 2 issues, and now I get an email saying my subscription is expiring and will auto-renew. Log on the account and found the expiration day is next month and the auto-renewal is turned on. There’s no button for canceling. I emailed them about the situation but haven’t got any response.
I use to love Time magazine for taking important positions, expressing difficult opinions based upon high moral sense, and impeccable integrity. Time magazine now offers little to its readers, little to help us to sort through craggy problems infesting our country. Existential is a word bandied about in the press and in important conversations between friends and family. When will we even begin to continually and repeatedly engage in rigorous debates brought up in op-eds, and articles throughout Time’s pages? To the editors of Time, please do your job! Time is not another version of People magazine. Show some backbone and grit! Only then can I pour through each Time magazine, read articles thoroughly, and retrace ideas and opinions carefully and rigorously. It took me only fifteen minutes for me to read the last Time! I do not want to agree with everything written, I just want to find something about which to cogitate, something that might help me look forward to reading the next Time when it arrives!
